Professional press arms features several functions to assist in servicing difficult rim/tire combinations. Articulating press arm along with (2) additional bead press rollers for manipulating nearly any performance tire.
The tapered press roller presses down on the bead perfectly placed by the demount head to eliminate the bead “popping” over the demount head. This is a common problem with all thick/stiff sidewall tires including. Low-profiles, trailer tires, 19.5's and more.
The added value (and possibly more relevant) is the tapered roller can also be used for lifting the bottom bead up and over the rim (without use of demount bar). The makes like work of one of the more difficult aspects of changing 19.5's, and thick sidewall tires.
The Additional Bead disc will assist with when certain sidewalls want to reseat themselves. Rather than taking the rim back off the machine to use the bead shove, you can place the disc under the tire and easily work the bead back loose again.
The same press system offers a 3rd arm that articulates all the way around, helping you keep the tire in the drop center of the wheel. A must for safely servicing most tires without tearing the bead or scratching the wheel.
