Also the world of a tire valve has changed: increasing average speeds with resultant centrifugal force and accelerations, improved brake power and therewith increasing heat emission and last but not least increasing tire pressure demand higher standards for stability, temperature – and pressure capabilities of a valve. 

ALLIGATOR ASC – the completely new sealing concept

 In traditional metal valves, the pre-load of the fastening nut is channelled through the rubber seal. Inevitable ageing and creep of the seal might lead to decreasing sealing efficiency all the way to the point the valve becoming loos. With the ALLIGATOR ASC leak-proof concept, the pre-load is led directly into the metal of the rim. The seal can perform its function independent of external forces. 

Cost reduction through simple assembly and reduced susceptibility to problems: 

• Hex-nut fits over valve cap – no dismounting of valve cap necessary
• Integrated rim – protection washer – no separate assembly needed
• no special tools required for assembly and disassembly
